Describe ways in which reptiles are more functionally or structurally suited for terrestriality than amphibians.

Reptiles are more suited for terrestriality that amphibians because they have tough, dry, scaly skin that protects them against desiccation and physical injury. Another way is the amniotic egg which permits rapid development of a large young in a dry envirment, so they don't need as much water for thier eggs. That is how reptiles are more functionally suited for terrestrial enviroments.
